Been trying to open a bunch of Compiled Script Resource files with the Resource Builder but have had no luck.
I've been using the trial version while I wait for my Activation Key to be sent out and the .RES files refuse to open.

Is this a limitation of the trial version or simply a case of an unsupported file type?
When looking at the Resource Builder website to purchase a license for the software, the only limitation I found was the number of licence keys included with each plan. I saw nothing about file support limitations.

Any idea about this?

Did you have any error message displayed or so while trying to open the RES file? There is no limitations on opening RES file. Could you please send us a sample RES file that reproduces your problem?

Had to upload the file to my Google Drive because the forum doesn't support it. Hopefully it works.

As for the error, all it said was Unsupported File Format

Thank you for the file. As the error reported the file is not a Windows RES file. This is just some file with .RES extension but not a Windows Resource File.

Thanks for helping me with this.
Although my file didn't open, I still fell in love with Resource Builder right from when I opened the trial version for the first time.
Can't wait to see what I can make.
