How does one 'clear' a language from a .SIB file?

Post by Malcolm »

Hi Igor

A user offered to do a translation and chose the 'RT', .SIB and SILEditor method.

But he asked me to first clear a partial translation of the language in question.

Did I miss an easy way to do this?

In the end I used the SILEditor to delete the language, save the .sib file, reload the .sib file, add the language and then do a few swap languages to get it all back together.

OK, not a common requirement .. and it may even be a bit dangerous to give a translator an easy way to lose their work .. but .. ?

Hi Malcolm,

Yes, you're right this was a way to clear the language. We will add this feature in SIL Editor in next version.
Best regards,
Igor Siticov.
