That did not help. Very strange. I uninstalled including Reg entries. That removed all but my .dic file I ran the 7_1 setup as Administrator I selected only the RAD Studio XE5 IDE plus the SIL Editor, Dictionary, Help and Wizards. After the install the Units\ERS XE5\ folders for Android, iOS a...

Android problem
Hi I just tried to add TsiLang to my small, working Android project (FMX). But when I try to build or compile I get errors about missing .dcu and .o files. I see that my design packages include TsiLang Component Suite (VCL Edition) and there are no runtime packages for TsiLang. Does this mean that I...

OK, here is what I am doing: 1. Double-click on a .sib file. The SIL Editor opens the file. 2. Expand the tree, select the first <unit> and then the Captions node 3. Scroll to language 13 (Chinese) and click on a cell 4. Select Dictionary, then Translate language 5. The base language dialog opens an...

Translate Language does not always show correct base langs
Hi Igor In SIL Editor V 6.0.1.52 I am trying to translate from the Dictionary just the selected language. Sometimes it correctly offers as the base language all the languages except the selected language. But other times it includes the selected language in the base list but not the base language I ...

ranslate from Microsoft Terminology Collection
Hi Igor
Would you consider adding the ability to translate a language in the Dictionary from a file downloaded from the Microsoft Terminology Collection?

Ah, well, that's too bad. I had hoped that you could do something like the Fixed Languages dialog, but instead the checked languages could have their column widths set to zero. Un-checking would restore their widths to some default value. Hmm, a column accidentally dragged to a zero width might then...

Visible Languages with SIB files
I see that 'Visible Languages' is only supported in SIL Editor with .sil files.
Is it not possible or practical to extend that to .sib files?

SIL Editor update anoyance :o)
When the SIL Editor detects an update and the user agrees to download and install it, Vista prevents this by simply reporting that it must be run by an Administrator then exiting.
Can you fix it to offer to elevate?

IDS Start number odd behaviour
V 6.3.1 1) Use Source with Form to get Strings 2) Select a few for translation 3) Invert Selection then Delete to leave only the target strings ... at this point the IDS_ numbers are the originals (with gaps) 4) Set a new Start number for the IDS_ ... the numbers are re-displayed as expected 5) Fina...

TaskMessageDlg
Igor In What's New you mention that, in Vista, any message box method will use TaskMessageDlg. But I think that can not make best use of TaskMessageDlg(?) But if we use the siTaskDialog itself, it will raise an exception if not in Vista. Should we either set a flag (IsVista) and then test it for eac...
