D2009 Install?

Hi Is it possible to install the latest version into D2009? I tried running the setup.exe and it reports no errors. However, the design package is listed but unchecked in the IDE Install Packages dialog. Attempting to check it generates an error about missing bpl. Attempting to compile/install the ....

How does one 'clear' a language from a .SIB file?

Hi Igor A user offered to do a translation and chose the 'RT', .SIB and SILEditor method. But he asked me to first clear a partial translation of the language in question. Did I miss an easy way to do this? In the end I used the SILEditor to delete the language, save the .sib file, reload the .sib f...

Problem with constants declared with line wrap?

Hello Igor Delphi D10. I had a list of about 75 string constants in a unit and tried to translate them. Mostly it worked fine and converted them to string variables. However, a few of the original declarations had been wrapped by my source code formatter as follows: mylongerstringconstant = 'a strin...

Well, it looks to me that because NeedAllDlgs is set, the captions for *all* siDialogs are included. I don't use the Find, Print, PrinterSetup or Font dialogs but each time I save the project, those strings get added to my .sil or .sib files. Is there another way to suppress the 'unwanted' dialogs?

I now have a sort of fix or work round. If I make sure all the siDialogs use a single TsiLang (on my Data Module) instead of using the local one, the NeedAllDlgs property no longer changes on the local TsiLangs - only on the Data Module one. This is easier to manage but still seems to be 'wrong' to ...

NeedAllDlgs changes from False to True

V 5.3.2

I have 5 forms out of 40+ in a project where the .NeedAllDlgs property changes from False to True if I save and reopen the form in the IDE. All the other forms seem OK.

Is there some setting I have overlooked that would cause this?

This still seems to be a problem .. well it is for me.

I don't know if it is a TsiLang problem or a Babel Fish one.
Is there a timescale for a fix?

I have uninstalled SiComponents, deleted its folders plus TSiLang_D6.bpl and .dcu files.

Re-installed.

Same problem :o(

Hi

I just tested with one of your Demos and I get the same error :(

It happens in the TsiLangExpert.OnChangeStrID procedure, just before it calls Sysutils.ExtractFileExt. (if that helps any).

Everything else seems to work fine.

D6 SP2 plus rtl updates.
