Delphi 10.2.1

So far as I can tell I will have to recompile my installation for the above Update 1.

Or should I just re-install?

What value does GetUserDefaultLangID return for the failing Languages (before ANDing it)? Are you able or willing to use System.SysUtils.TSysLocale ? This works for me: VAR ALanguage: Integer; BEGIN // we only come here if the Active Language has not been set by user. ALanguage := SysLocale.PriLangI...

OK, so am I doing something wrong when installing? For example, my XE8 installation gives me: C:\Program Files\SiComponents\TsiLang\Units and in that I see many .pas files and also the matching .dcu files. I do have the Units folder in my Library path. Is that my mistake? I also have the Auxilary fo...

Thank you for considering this.

You are not the only component supplier that mixes source and binary files. :)

Installation folders

Hi Can I ask if you will consider using separate folders for source and binary files for full source installations? I find that because I install under Program Files, I have to copy your binary files to a 'bin' folder then adjust my Library path so that the source is not on my Library path. Otherwis...

SIL Editor re-drawing?

I have noticed that when the Editor populates its grid of translations, it appears to draw down from the top to the end, then delete a few rows from the bottom then redraw them.

This is most noticeable when there are a lot of rows.

It is as if the grid is drawn twice(?)

Just a comment. :)

Thanks Igor

The XE7 setup.exe ran OK, but the components were not installed.
I don't know enough about how to change the settings to get the package installed so I will just try to be patient.

I don't usually push for early releases .. but .. I have an Android app which crashes under XE7 and earlier due to a library bug which has been fixed in XE8. The only 3rd party component I need before I can release a fixed version of my app is .. TsiLang. If your XE8 support is not imminent, do you ...

Hi Igor WOW! I opened all the forms in the IDE which took a minute or so. I checked quite a few to make sure they were all open and looked OK. Then I used the TsiLang Expert to save the project. In this case it only took about 10 seconds to run and correctly created the .SIB file. Thanks for the sug...

Some more info. I went back to my XE2 VM which has 1.5GB RAM and 40GB HDD and uses TsiLang v 7.2 The same project (earlier version) has 65 forms but only 13 languages. A Project Save runs fine in a little over 30 seconds. I have not tried in XE7 as I have not yet installed all the 3rd party componen...

Save Project hangs my IDE in DXE6

Is there an upper limit to the number of languages or units that the TsiLang Expert can process when Saving a project? I am running XE6 in a Win7 VM with 2Gb RAM and 60Gb HDD with 15Gb free. The 'problem project' project has 65 forms and 14 languages. Smaller projects Save OK. I am saving to a .SIB ...
