Translation Editor strings to Dictionary

I have some strings in the Translation Editor (TE) and want to send them to the 'connected' dictionary. The strings don't currently have translations (I will do that in the Dictionary Manager).
In the TE, if I select Dictionary/Add all and check 'Force empty items' and hit Ok, the strings are not added to the dictionary. What am I doing wrong?
