TSilang Dictionary Manager import from excel does not work!

Post by hauger »

It is not possible to import the data back from excel.

1. I export the data from TSilang Dictionary Manager into Excel. That works fine.
2. After that I creat a new Dictionary
3. I want to import the data from the excel sheet.

Nothing is going on, no error.

Export in csv and import back work fine.

What can I do, because I must have it in Excel to translate by a person ...

Please send us sample XLS file by email that you try to import and we will check this.

Thank you again for your detailed help with this problem.
The problem appears ONLY while using German language for Dictionary Manager UI. To workaround this just use English UI language for Dictionary Manager while performing the Import feature.
We will fix this in next update.

I have installed 8.8.5.1 and thought, that this will solve my problem. But it seems, that this problem is not solved yet.
When can I expect this correction?

Another message.
If I remove languages an error message appears "Range check error".
Does this will affect anything?

SIB file with translations for Dictionary Manager wasn't updated. Sorry for this.
New 4.0.7.107 build of Dictionary Manager just published and it shall fix both problems. Just use Update Manager or separate download to install the updated version.
I have installed 8.8.5.1 and thought, that this will solve my problem.
P.S. What is 8.8.5.1 you're referring to?
Best regards,
